HOMECOMING
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will hold Homecoming services Sunday, September 28 at 11 a.m. The Rev. A. D. Goodson will be the guest speaker. Dinner will be served at the fire hall.
THRIFT SHOP
The Thrift Shop in Washington is open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lots of bargains, plenty of good school clothes, nice baby bed and many other items are available. It will be open until mid-November. “We accept clean, saleable clothes, furniture, pots, pans, dishes, and any other items you no longer need. Call 675-3608 for pick up,” said Ruth Clark, president of the Ladies Auxiliary.
