SOFTBALL WINNER
Rappahahnock Poor Boys softball team came out on top Sunday. After playing Flint Hill at 2 p.m. and winning with the score 9 to 1, they played Washington at 4 p.m. and took that 21 to 0. The Poor Boys are scheduled to play Flint Hill again Sunday September 19 at 2 p.m. □
METHODIST YOUTH
Plans are underway for a joint MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) to include young people from the Flint Hill, Washington and Willis Chapel United Methodist Churches. Any youths up to 14 years of age are invited to attend the first session of MYF which will be held at Willis Chapel Sunday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. Also anyone interested in becoming a counselor is asked to be present.
SOFTBALL GAMES
Sunday afternoon, September 19 at three o’clock there will be two soft ball games at Rappahannock County Elementary School. Reynolds Royals will play the Amissville Mets and Trinity Terrors will meet the Southern Mets.
