This bull owned by J.C. Johnson of Washington has broken all recorded growth records. A Holstein and Simmetal bull , it weighed 830 pounds at 205 days. County Agent Rapley 0wings, checked with the Extension Service in Blacksburg to find that this is a record. However, the BC1A records pertain only to Angus cattle. No records were available on Holsteins. The animal suffered a health setback for about 23 days and still continued its growth pattern and gain.
