Fans of girls basketball saw a fast moving and exciting game Tuesday night when the Lady Panthers met Montevideo in a clash on the Rappahannock court. Good rebounding and passing enabled the local girls to outscore Montevideo and the scoreboard said 59-50 when the clock ran out.
Jamell Prudhum was top scorer, with 21 points and rebounds were shared by Eleanor Phillips, Chris Nicholson and Jamell Prudhum. The scoring was aided by Mae Dunn, Rhonda Estes and Peanut Mahoney.
