arloft Friday for a visit with her mother, Mrs. M.M. Chastain and family. Mrs .Chastain has received word of the sudden death of her nephew, J. Don Crane, in Lawrence, Kans., where he was president of the Standard Mutual Life Insurance Company for the past 26 years.
Tuesday Mrs. Mary Hickerson, Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey and Mrs. Ethel Williams attended a Rappahannock County executive meeting of the Homemakers in the home of Mrs. Corrine DelGrosso in Flint Hill.
The ill in the community: Sherri Lynn Wines is home from Winchester Memorial Hospital and reported doing well. Jeremy Stonebreaker is back in school following his recent illness. Mrs. Doris Williams is confined to her home and unable to work since the first of last week. Mrs. LaMerle Williams has been ill for a week but is improved at this writing.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin and Jennifer Nicole visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Atkins in Front Royal; Mr. and Mrs. Silas Atkins in Markham; Mr. and Mrs. John Heflin in Warrenton; and Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Atkins in Chester Gap.
