Singleton
Harry Herndon Singleton, 77, of Munster, Ind. formerly of Sperryville, died October 5, 1976 at the Winchester Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months.
Mr. Singleton was a native of Sperryville. He was the son of the late Erasmus Jack and Bessie Cole Herndon Singleton. Mr. Singleton was a retired railroad conductor and a member of the Reynolds Baptist Church in Sperryville. He was also the independent order of odd fellows in Hammond, Ind., and brotherhood of railroad trainmen.
His wife was the late Della Singleton. He is survived by one son, Harry R. Singleton of Munster, Ind., a brother, Rudolph Singleton of Fayettesville, N.C. and a sister, Mrs. Clarice Clarke of Sperryville.
