A successful day of hunting in the Flint Hill Area netted an eight-point buck for Dale Michael of Woodbridge; a seven-pointer for Jerry Potter of Banner Elk, N.C.; a ten-point deer for Janies Stringfellow of Washington while George “Rabbit” Jones of Manassas bagged a nine-point buck. Jones said he saw more deer the first day of the season than ever in his many years of hunting in this area and that the quality of the animals was indeed good.
