While in New York the students will stay at the Taft Hotel on 52nd Street, which offers special rates to visiting students.
Among the places of interest which the Wakefield students plan to visit are the Hayden Planatarium, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Building, the World Trade Center, Wall Street Stock Exchange, Congress Hall, Trinity Church, Fraunces Tavern, the Museum of Holography, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Plans have been made for the group to attend the Broadway musical Shenandoah, to hear a concert given by the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, and to have a French meal at Le Restaurant Cheval Blanc.□
