Mr. and Mrs. Eddie R. Hitt of Amissville announce the engagement of their daughter Peggie Ann to James S. Woodard, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Staton Woodard, Sr. of Climax, North Carolina.
Miss Hitt is employed by Carr and Hyde, Incorporated in Warrenton.
Mr. Woodard is employed by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Service.
A June wedding is planned. □

WILLIAMSBURG TRIP
A trip has been planned by the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers to Williamsburt pottery factory on Saturday, April 23. The wide range of items which can be purchased includes gourmet foods, cheeses, china, glassware, pewter, copper, lamps, candles, dried flowers, baskets, plants and much more. The cost of the trip is $10 which includes bus fare and insurance. Mail reservations and money to Mrs. Paul Miller, Flint Hill, 22627 on or before April 15. The bus will leave Washington at 7:30 a.m. and Amissville Post Office at 7:45 a.m. Return will be 6:15 p.m. at Amissville and 6:45 p.m. at Washington.
