In January, Rowand booked her first in-home catering job and the business has spread by word of mouth ever since.
“My first clients were friends of friends and then it mushroomed a little bit. ftople I've cooked for would give my name to somebody else and then that person would call," Rowand said.
With help from her husband, Keith, Rowand’s dinner party catering includes a wide variety of services. Rowand works with clients to specialize a menu according to personal taste and dietary restrictions. 'Laughing Duck will do all the shopping and on the day of the party, bring the necessary ingredients and utensils to prepare the meal in the comfort of your own home.
Laughing Duck menus are completely seasonal, of course, and include items such as rosemary lemon roasted chicken, homemade peach ice cream, and grilled summer vegetables.
