“We always had a garden growing up. I can't say I would spend much time in it, but it was there and I sort of took it for granted. But back in the early 90s, when I wanted to cook, I either couldn’t find the ingredients I wanted or refused to pay the price at the supermarket. So I decided to grow my own,” Rowand said.
