T. Carlyle Lea, Jr., has resigned as judge of the county court of Rappahannock County. He has been admitted as a partner in the law firm of Fray and Hudson, Culpeper, Va., effective September 1. Mr. Lea and his family will move to Culpeper in the near future.
Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, chairman of the Ladies Auxiliary Rummage Sale, reports that the spring sale netted $330 for the Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad for which the sale is held twice a year.
The Rappahannock County Elementary School dental clinic has received some office machinery including a high speed drill, chairs, cabinets, x-ray machine, etc., as a gift from Dr. Howard Berger who is moving from Washington, Va. Dr. Berger has his office in Falls Church but owned a home in Rappahannock which was recently purchased by the J. Newbill Millers.
