Department at Mental Health, Mental Retardation, Substance Abuse Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Senior Clinician in Loudoun County s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area . (HKJTA) program. This position provides specialized outpatient I substance abuse treatment services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Services include assessment and evaluation, individual, group and family therapy, case management including medication case management, cnsis intervention and stabilization and interagency consultation and coordination of treatment services. Maintains all clinical records and documentation according to federal, state and agency policies and procedures and assures compliance with federal HIDTA requirements tor automated treatment tracking. The candidate must be knowledgeable in both substance abuse and mental health issues, and demonstrate strong clinical skills m providing individual, group and family substance abuse therapy. Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to function as a memoei of a clinical team. Services may be provided in a variety of settings including the Adult Detention Center and Probation. Work Schedule will include Monday-Pnday with evening hours 2 nights pet week. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor s degree in social work, psychology, counseling and/or marriage and family therapy and three years of (Ob-related experience. Virginia Clinical licensure or license-eligible. Master s Degree m social work, psychology, counseling and/or mamage and family theiapy. and three years post-masters clinical experience preferred. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check. T8 test, and driving record check.
