Tho editor of the Journal, W. J. Lancelot started Friday evening for Craig, Colorado in the extreme north west part of that state on a two or three weeks' visit wtth his daughter, Mrs. John A. Hicks and husband who own a fine 320 acre raneli near that thriving town. This ia his first trip west and as he want over the Moffat Road from Denver to its present termination at Steamboat Springs he will observe some of tbe most rugged scenery to be found in the northern section of the Rockies. From Steamboat Springs the journey t» Craig is about 40 miles and is made either by Taxicab or Stage at the option of the tourist. Tf the Journal is not up to its usual standard of excellence for the next two weeks lay it to the editor's absence.
