Of Primary Reading For some time we have been trying* to decide upon some way of improving: the reading of pupils in the Bural Schools. Reading is the Key to allt other studies, therefore we must consider it first in importance. After considerable thought along this line-'. we have decided to adopt this system-. believing it to be the most feasible for the use of rural teachers. It is es-V pecially necessary for some system like this in a country where there are so many children who must learn thelanguage at the same time Jthey arelearning to read. This system properly taught will be a great aid to those children.
