The new law makeB a flat tav on autos acoording to horse power and the money is turned into the State Treasury to be divided among the counties for the benefit of the road fund. It is estimated that at least $50,000 will be collected in this way ot which the state will reoeive fifteen percent and each county in proportion to the number of townships it contains. This money will be expended in building up the roads and making permanent culverts along tbe highway, the Board of Supervisors having this money under their control.
