Each automobile driven by a gasoline engine of.twenty horse power or under will be taxed (8.00 and every higher powered maohine will be taxed forty cents for every horse power over Steam and electrically driven machines have been taxed a flat rate of $15. a year regardless of horse power. Dealers licenses also coBt $15. Motor cycles are taxed $3 per year regardless of horse power. On receipt of the fee the autoist is entitled to two number plates one to be displayed at the front and the other at the rear of the machine. The color of the plates will be changed each year which will show who has and who has not paid the tax for that year. Licenses secured between July 1,1911 and January 1, 1912 will be at half tbe usual rates. If the owner of an auto transfers or sellB it to another person the Secretary of State shall be notified of the name of tbe new owner who within ten daysshall make application for a change of registry which shall be made upon receipt of a fee of $1.
