J . have been visting at ‘Forkland " Mrs. C. C Smith recently visit ed relatives in Washington. D. C Richmond Guest M-Sgt. D. J. Matson, of Rich mond. spent the week end at his home here. Mrs. E. S. Walker., Jr., of Farm ville. spent the week end in the W. D. Walker home and was a Sunday luncheon guest in the Leigh Womack home. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wootten. of Burkeville, were Saturday guests of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Walker. Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Stratton were Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Garnett and children. Edmund. III. and Betty Sue. and F. D. Ferguson. Sunday Guests Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown and son, Bernard, were Sunday lunch eon guests in the J. C. Dennis home in the Raines neighborhood. In the afternoon, the Frank Brown family visited Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dennis and family, near Burkeville. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stimpson and children. Geraldine and C. T were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gray Stimpson. of Raines, and attended services at Brown's Church. In the evening t lie Stimpson family attended serv ices at Center Presbyterian Church, Cumberland. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Stratton and F. D. Ferguson also attended services at Center Church, Sunday eve ning. A good many of the neighbor hood people have been confined to their homes by sickness. Their many friends wish them a speedy recovery.
