Coats, who has been em ployed in Detroit for tiie past year, is at his home here en gaged in farming. Mr. and Mrs. James Whiteh ad have moved into their new home, and. last Saturday night, their friends gave a surprise household jtff'-ty. They received many lovely an 1 useful gifts. The many relatives and friends are happy to know Mrs. Wilson Womack lias returned from MCV Hospital much improved after treatment for an illness. She is at file home of her son and daugh ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Billie Womack, of Farmville. Darlington Hgts. Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Ellyson and son, Bobby, spent the week end with her father. T C. Bailey, who has been ill. Mr and Mrs. Bill Blank, of Richmond, spent the week end i with Mr. and Mrs. C I. Harvey Mrs. Sam Bailey and children, and Sonny, saw the Ice Vogues, in Richmond, last Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs Vernon McKin rick of Richmond, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Bailey.
