The council agreed to put m the sidewalks if the property landowners would share one-half the cost Johnston pointed out that this is the standard policy of the town in constructing sidewalks in residential sections. In another tentative approval, the council authorized a town water line from Buffalo Street to Appomattox Street along Third Street. This hue was requested by Buffalo Shook Company so they could establish a fire protecting sprinkler system in their plant. The line would be built on a cost sharing basis by Buffalo Shook Company and the Town of Farm ville.
