Dr. Francis Lankford, Longwood College president, gave the Chamber of Commerce a peep into the operations ol the College Monday night Capital expenditures for the biennium 1956-'58 will total $967,700, a greater part of it being used for dormitories. Enroll ments are expected to remain on a gradual upward trend during the coming years with 1255 students bj 1965 and 1674 by 1970. These estimates are conservative.
