Dearborn of the Na uonal Safety Council wrote: It is a real pleasure for me to inform you that your organizatioi has been voted the National Safe ty Council's Public Interest award for 1956. We here at the council have been well aware of all you have been doing for safety, and wf are delighted that the judges agreed.” Only two stations in Virginia won the award! WRVA in Rich mond was the other. For the Farmville station, this will be the sixth year it has received the award. A formal presentation is expect ed at a later date.
