Washington Home Demonstra- , tion club met at the home of Mrs. Gilbert Updike on Thursday, September 6. The ladies cleaned and ; restyled 12 hats and two pocketbooks. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie and ' Mrs. Gilbert Updike gave the demonstration. Program suggestions for 1952 were discussed.

During the month of September new officers for the coming year will be elected in. 4-H. The girls - are concentrating and hoping for large number of completions.
Forest Grove 4H club met Wednesday, September 5, and chose the following officers: president, Barbara Lee Cubbage; vice-president, Barbara Ann Dodson, see* retary, Eanny Gore; devotion leader, John Cubbage; song leaders, Barbara Lee Cubbage and' Barbara Ann Dodson. Mrs. Clarence Scott will be club leader this year.
Amissville 4-H club met Friday, September 7, at the school. Jhe following officers v?ere chosen: president, Donald Settle; vicepresident, Sandra ' Lee Rowzie; secretary, Sherlean Dodson; game leader, Hilda Settle, song leader, "Betty Scott; and devotion leader, - Jane, Riley. Mrs. Standish Riley will be club leader.
