The bride was married in a bine •nit' with black accessories and carried a white Bible with a white orchid. Her sister, Miss Dorothy Meade, was the bride's only at-j tendant. Mr. and Mrs. Meade, the bride's parents, entertained at a wedding breakfast before the ceremony for members of the family and out-of-town guests.
Among those from Rappahannock attending the wedding were Mrs. Mildred Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton.
After a wedding trip, Mr., and •Mrs. Thornton twill be at home ’ in Athens, Georgia.
