In order that this land may prodace maximum yields Soil Conservation District supervisors suggest that 000,000 acres of crops be arranged in strips and the total 375.000 acres be followed in an approved rotation. The total pasture acreage should be treated and improved, with 373,000 acres of pasture to be developed and seeded to recommend pasture mixture. The total hayland should be seeded and maintained in « high state of-productivity to insure feed for the present livestock.
It will be necessary to drain 04.000 acres of land. This will require 748 miles of tile and 2,332 teniles of open ditches. Much of the work has been done.
