Engagement Announced
Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer of Washington have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nellie Elisabeth, to John Biedler, son of John K. Biedler of Winston, Culpeper county.
Mias Racer * graduated from Washington High 'School and is employed at Watts Beauty Shop.
Mr. Biedler attended Mitchells High School, Mitchells, and is a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Navy live years of which three yean were spent in the Pacific aboard ship.
No date has been set for the wedding.
GARDEN CLUB WILL MEET WEDNESDAY AT “DELAMORE*
The December meeting of Rappahannock Garden Club will be held Wednesday, December 12, at “Delamore,” home of Mrs. E. M. Jones. Mn. Rayner V. Snead is chairman of the program, with the topic “Decorating Christmas Trees.” The exhibit for the meeting will be on decoration for the home.
