BENEFIT DANCES HELD

The two benefit dances held In the county Friday night, November 30, pro-red to be entertain* tnent for many and a success for both the organisations.

The Square Dance held at Washington was for the benefit of the Cancer Fund. The dance was well attended and dancers and spectators reported a pleasant

The dance held at Sperryville was for the benefit of the Fire Company. Guests were most complimentary and reported a wellenjoyed evening bf entertainment.

Plans at present are for two more dances, each scheduled on the same evening, December 28. The Washington dance will be a square dance for the benefit of the Rappahannock Auxiliary to the Fire Department The dance at Sperryville is for the benefit of the Sperryville Fire company.
