NEW PROJECT STARTED
BY FIRE AUXILIARY
The Ladies Auxiliary to the> Rappahannock Fire Company met on Monday night. After finishing the regular business, a new and very unique project was decided upon. The ladies thought it would be fun to see how many house wives in the county would patch an aprdn, with money. Three aprons will be given to three of the ladies and to be returned to Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr. by January 1, 1352. Mrs. Gallie Smith will have charge of and start the apron roll, ing in Flint Hill; Mrs. Wade H. Massie is in charge of the one in Washington; and Mrs. Wade Pullen, the one in Amissville. The ladies are requested to sign their names, as it will be interesting to know who helped the Auxiliary to swell its bank account. If you are not asked to put a patch on one of the aprons, please try and locate the apron because it must be kept l_ going. „ __
