•Civilization’s progress is fine in many respects. There are many times that no one agrees with the advocates of “the good ole* days.” No one wants them back—unless he can keep his modern conveniences.
There is one item, certainly not given us by our grandparents nor our parents, that we seem to be acquiring: that is the dropping of dignity by the modern, indiscriminate use of first names.
