W.S.C.S. MEETING FEATURES CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
The Woman's Society of Christian Service of Flint Hill Methodist church met at the home of R*v. and Mrs. N. J. Flythe on Thursday, December 18. A Christmas program was given under the leadership of Mrs. Canon Lillard. The annual Christmas shower was given to the pastor and his family.

Miss . Louise Miller of Charlottesville had as her house guests over the iweek end at the home of her parenlts, Mr. and Mn. C. J. Miller, Miss Jean Smith of Charlottesville, and Joseph Vance and Richard Doss of Univenity of Virginia. Miss Letitia Hickman came with the party and visited her parents, Mr and Mn. A. M. Hickman, in Harris Hollow.
County News Notes
. Mn. Isaac Beahm and daughter who have been visiting in the home of Mrs. Beahm’s mother, Mrs. Hollie Wheller, in Savage, Maryland, returned home on Saturday. Isaac Beahm motored down or Saturday and his family returned with him.
Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea and son, Carlyle motored to Hollins College for their daughter on Tuesday. Miss Lea is a student there this session.
Pfc. Jack Barber and his mother, Mn. J. M. barber, were in the county Tuesday enroute to Westernport, Maryland.
