Die* At Hi* County Home
D. Lyle Miller died at his home in Gid Brown Hollow late Thursday evening, March 6- Whereas he had not been so well for the past two weeks, his illness was not considered serious and the sudden, fatal heart attack came as a shock to his family and friends.
Mr. Miller was bom July 29, 1871, son of Dr. DAid Darius Miller and Elizabeth Williams Miller, at the family home near Rock Mills, now the home of Thomas Williams.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Elizabeth Roberts Strother; a son, D. Lyle Miller, Jr.;' two daughters; Mrs. W. W. Sanford of Orange, and Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Jr.: and two grandsons, the children of Mrs. Sanford. Also surviving is a brother, Brooke Roberts Miller. The two brothers and sister Who preceded him in death were Dr. Gideon Brown Miller, John James Miller of Hawlin, and Mrs. McCall Boulware.
