$10 Auto License Fee
Is Effective March 15
The flat fee of $10 for licensing private automobiles for 1952 will he effective March 15, the beginning of the license year, it-has been announced by ,the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles.
The new law will be a help to those who mail in registration fees and will make the job of the license office much easier. The old law of 30-cents per hundred pounds weight was trouble to the man who issued the license. This new law of flat $10, regardless of make or sire of the car, will raise the price a dollar-or-so on the small car owner and lower it a. dollar-or-so on the large car owner* . .. ...
Motorists are urged to buy their license plates early and avoid that usual last minute rush.
MRS. RUTH BROWN ARNOLD
Relative here have been notified of the death of Mrs. Ruth Brown Arnold at her Home in Hampton following a short illness. She was the daughter of J. Will Brown and the late Mrs. Laulra W. Brawn and spent her early /years here. Besides her father she is survived by one son, five sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held on Tuesday in Hampton with burial in the Natt Cemetery.
Miss Dottie Weaver was in Culpeper on Saturday.
