Washington H-D club met Wednesday night. Mrs. Clarence Qough, president, refd the devotionals. The club collected “pennies for friendshipp” contribution and suggested Mrs. Gough contact Mr. Winfrey about a community project Five members said they would attend the district meeting May 1. We were glad to have Mrs. Susie Pullen as a new member. Care of> shrubbery and pruning was the demonstration given by Mrs. Ethel Racer, home grounds leader and the agent.
