Maybe we are one of the smallest counties in the state, but we are neither small nor narrow in the region of our hearts.
We pray earnestly that. our loved ones in service may be returhed *$o«us. We can help to answer this prayer, for this week the Red Cross drive, begins for funds and blood donors. Which of our boys would you allow to die because shortage of blood? Your pint of blood and Your donation Will save one of Our boys.,
Volunteer workers will call on you and me soon. Let’s help them by being ready with our donation and pledge of blood.
Rappahannock Red Cross workers had the pleasure of having J. Hopkins of the National Red Cross as their guest last Friday evening, in the home of Mrs. Jaenie Jarvis of Sperryville. Mr. Hopkins explained in grout detail just what the Red Cross plans to Jrelp us with in our county. If All of you could have heard Mr. Hopkins, I am sure you wouldn’t even wait to be called upon—you would send your donations to the following:
