Douglas Hayward Dodsony 47, died suddenly at his home near Washington Saturday afternoon, March 22. _:_u.
Mr. Dodson, a farmer, was born and reared in Rappahannock county. A son of the late Douglas Dodson, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Dodson of Woodville; his wife, M>s. Olie Whorton Dodson, five’ sotis and four daughters. Three of th sous are in the armed services^ Cpl. Charles Dodson,-who has just - returned from duty overseas, Pvt. Franklin D. Roosevelt (Bill) Dodson, and Pvt. Mitchell Dodson. One son, John Douglas, and the four girls, Mary, Ruby, Mildred, and Schena Mae, are at home. The surviving sis* ters and brothers are: Mrs. Charles Elliott of Maryland, Stephen Dodson of Stephens City, Edgar Dodson of Winchester, and Mrs. Amon Whorton, Mrs. Kensey Atkins, Mrs. Isaiah Petty, and Elwood Dodson of Rappahannock. |
Funeral arrangements will be made, afteij the arrival of one of the boys in service who is stationed in California.
