BASEBALL CLUB PLANS ORGANIZATION
Charlie Jenkins has called a meet* ing for tomorrow night, Friday, March 28, at Merrill Motor Co. for all those interested .in organizing a baseball, club.
BRIDGE PARTY
Mrs. George L. Tayior entertained the bridge club and additional guests on Tuesday evening at “Grandview,” her home near town. Five tables were arranged for the games. Those playing were Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Corrie Eastham, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Carolyn M. Hall, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. Maude Gore, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Mrs. Lewis Turner, Mrs. R. v V. Snead, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. Annie A. Keyser. Mrs. J. P. Snead, Mrs. P. L. Thornton, Mrs. Fred Schaefer and Miss Louise O’Bannon. High score prize for the club members by Mrs. Menefee. Mrs. A. S. Keyser won the traveling. Mrs. Davis won high prize for the guests and Mrs. Turner low for the guests. A salad course was served after the games. On the same evening Mr. Taylor entertained the following at a game of set-back D. D. Miller, Charles H. Estes, A. H. Keyser, and R. E. Wood. ----- -- - -
