Mr. and. Mrs. W. McChesney and daughter, Jenny Lynn of Sandston were week-end guests of Mrs. McChesney’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Wayland and visited Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Yates, who is recovering satisfactorily from a recent automobile accident which hospitalized her for several days at the University Hospital in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Carolyn M. Hall left on Tuesday morning for Roanoke •where she was called by the death of her—cousin, Miss Bessie Rust, «who died very suddenly at her home in Roanoke on Monday morning. ,
