The State Board of Education has fixed Saturday, April 19, 1952, as the date on which the Teachers’ Reading Course examination for the renewal of certificates shall be offered in the various school divisions of the State. This examination for Warren and, Rappahannock county teachers will be Conducted in the office of SuptQ. D. Gasque, Warren County Court House, Front Royal. This examination has been scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p-m.
The Teachers’ Reading Course examination for both high and elementary teachers will be based on the following books: Our English Heritage, Your Bible and You,’ A History of Education, and Child Growth and Development in the Elementary School Years. I.4* ' A certificate can he renewed by taking the Teachers’ Reading Course ’‘-examination within a period of two years before expiration. M certificate* can be revived by th Teachers’ Reading Course examination, if the examination is taken within two years after date of expiration.
