As part of , the business meeting the club collected '^Pennies for Friendship” and made plans to help with the Food Sale. _ Two members plan to attend district meeting. The demonstration was on the pruning of shrubs.
Mrs. Catherine Riley entertainv ed Amissville H.D. at her home on Tuesday. Mrs. Riley read a scripture and prayer at the beginning of the meeting. All members present expressed their desire to attend the district meeting and promised to make a dish for the food sale or* Saturday. Pruning of roses and shrubs was demonstrated to the club.'
Flint Hill 'H.D. met with Mrs. P. D. Dennis Tuesday evening, with the hostess reading Psalm 36 and the group singing. Many plans were made during the business meeting. Plans included two members attending district meeting, donations of food to Bake Sale in Culpeper " and plans for Easter party for children at school. The club voted to enter the contest "Women of the Year” and appointed this committee of: Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Bert Massie and Miss Ruth Stevens. Mrs. Mabel Lillard was appointed to be in charge of an assembly on Citizenship at the School. The members recontributed to "Pennies tot Friendship Fund,” The club decid.
