Washington Jr. 4-H Club met Wednesday morning for their April meeting. During the business Ihour the 4-H Supper was discussed and Rena Pullen, a new member iwas welcomed. The girls continued to work on their gathered skirts.
Forest Grove 4-H met Wednesday afternoon. The group voted to give contribution from the supper fund for National 4-H Center in Washington, D. C. During project work the girls, worked on their gathered skirts.'
Amissville 4-H met Friday and sang several new songs. “Dreaming” and “Ploughing Song." Elizabeth Latham was elected, game leader. Mrs. Catherine Riley, leader, helped the girls in making gathered skirts and Jane Riley and Betty Smoot_worked on seam finishes and making of darts.
Washington H. D. met Wednesday evening. Five members bought tickets for the district meeting. The club decided to clean curtains at the high school for their community project April 19. Mrs. Wade Pullen, house furnishing leader demonstrated the attaching of plug in light sockets and the fixing of ironing cords.
With Easter just a few days distant homemakers begin to plan what they are going to have for Easter, ordinarily for Easter baked ham just seems to fit. Scrub home cured bam with stiff brush.
