Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood were dinner guests on Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John Davis at “Hawthorne.” On Saturday Mrs. Wood attended a luncheon given by Mas. R. S. Graves at Madison.

Pvt. Irvin H. Whorton of Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania was a week-end guest of his mother, Mrs. Henry Whorton. Other guests in the Whorton home were Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Utz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Orie Corbin and family of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Sam T. Johnson and family of Midway Island were Sunday guests of Miss Virginia Jenkins.

Misses Betty Orange and Rebecca Jenkins were Sunday afternoon callers of Miss Mary Anna Jenkins.

Mrs. Albert Burke returned home Sunday after spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burke of Culpeper.
