Amissville girls taking meal preparation met at the home of Mrs.' ^Charles Green Thursday. A very attractive tosed salad was made and enjoyed by the members.
Mrs. Dorothy Davis, 4-H leader for flower arrangement project, very ably demonstrated living room arrangements at their first meeting Friday morning. Crescent arrangements were made of day lilies, larks and hydrangea. Coffee table arrangement was made of daisy.
Washington Sr. 4-H club had a weinei 'Toast Friday evening at the home of Carolletta Gough. 4-H’ers enjoyed a good swim in the pond. •>
Estes H. D. group met at the home of Mrs. Eddie Martin Monday evening. The group enjoyed covering of lamp shades.
Mrs. Lewis Harrison entertained the Huntly H. D. Club Monday evening. "fhey decided to reseat chairs during July. Each of tthe members helped with making of lamp shades during the meeting.
Flint Hill H. D. Club met at the home of Mrs- Roberta' K. Massie on Tuesday evening with a total of 7 lamp shades being made during the evening. The club paid the cost of one towa light as their special improvement project and voted to pay $6.00 on one 4-H*er’s trip to camp.
A total ot 7 lamp shades were made at Woodville H. D. Club Friday evening in the home of Miss Nellie Johnson. Besides lamp shades* the group wired 4 poldron lamps to take home. Miss Nellie Johnson and Miss Ruth Clark are planning to attend the Rural Institute of Affairs the last of July from this group.
Mrs. Marshall Jenkins entertained F. T. Valley # 2 H.D. club Thursday afternoon. Memebrs that were present made a lamp shade during the meeting. This group voted to have “Cold Plate for Surtday" as demonstration in July.
