WITH TI$E 5TH REGIMENTAL COMBAT TEAM IN KOREA — Pfc. Bernard L. Gough, whose parents live in Amissville, recently left the 5th Regimental Combat Team in Korea for return to the U.s. under the Army’s rotation policy.
Gough, who served as an assistant automatic rifleman in the 5th Regimental Combat Team’s Company 1, entered the Army in March 1951 and arrived in Korea in August. Pfc. Gough is a graduate of Washington High School.
BRIDGE PARTY Mrs. George H. Davis Jr. entertained the Washington Bridge Club Friday night. Her guests were Miss Belle Strother, Mrs- H. C. Warwick, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. Lewis Turner, Mrs. Robert Massie, Mrs. J, E. Keyser, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. Elizalieth DeBergh,' Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. W. H. Massie Jr., Mrs. C. T. Bruce, and Mrs. D. D. Miller. After the game, a salad course was served by the hostess, assisted by her daughters, Mary Norman and Dorothy. Miss Belle Strother won the high prize, Mrs. J. E. Keyser won the traveling, Mr?. W. F. Moffett won the consolation and Mrs. D. D. Miller won bingo.
