Mrs. William Stevens is visiting her mother, brother and sister-in-law, Mrs. J. J. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Brown Miller.

Elizabeth Fuss, Home Agent, for Rappahannock County, left on Monday for Blacksburg. Kelly Updike, Tiny Gentry, Bernice Nethers, and Newbill Miller accompanied Miss Fuss and will attend the 4-H Short Course at V.P.I. this week.

Miss Belle Strother, who has been visiting relatives and friends in the county, left today with Miss Louise Strother Miller for Salem, where she will lekve on Saturday for a visit to her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D.J.F. Strother of Ripplemead. On July 19, Miss Strother will leave for New Orleans, where she will remain until fall.

Mr- and Mrs. John Wood and son of Cleveland arrived at Millermead on Wednesday from Wilmington, where they have been the guests of — Mr. Wood’s mother. After a few days visit to Mrs. Wood’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller, they wi!i spend sometime at Virginia Beach, while their son, Jenner visits with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs, C. J. Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey and family, Steven and Nina Merill are visiting in Detroit this week.

Miss Gladys Delaney of Covington was a guest last week of Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill.

Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke and sons, Richard and David of Culpeper spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke.

Sunday afternoon Mrs. Guy Burke, her brother, Malcolm of Washington, D-C. Miss Viola Williams and Richard Burke visited Mrs. Burke’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. ^nd Mrs. John Evans of Luray.

Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith and sons, G. W. Ill and Charlie spent Sunday with Mr. Smith’s mother, Mrs. G. W. Smith of North Gardens.

Jim Massie spent Sunday with Tom Moffett of Arlington.
