While no pound averages have been computed I feel the average to be between 22 and 23c per . pound—the average of sale lots was $21.15 per cwt. Top price was paid for a pen of twelve Fancy &nd Choice Hereford heifers weighing an average of 377 lbs. each which brought $27.75. Fancy and Choice steers fetched from $21.75 to a top of $25 with the lower price being on cross breeds which T has been the Experience throughout Virginia Feeder. Calf Sales. The price range on fancy and choice heifers was front 19.75 to 27.75 with the majority bringing around 2b.50.
