Circulation Soars
On “Flint Hill News”
Staffed by Johnny Browning, as printer, with Butch Browning, Rick Cook, and Alvin Profitt as distributors, the county’s latest publication, “Flint Hill News”, is enjoying a wide circulation from one end of Flint Hill plum’ through to the other. As this newspaper comes into *print, by way of a mimeograph machine, it is trimmed and stapled and hastened to the street for sale. • The enterprising young men find ready sale for their news sheet. One of the issues ((approximately 3 i by 5 1 inches in size) states that: “We have received many complaints about our e’s looking like o’s. We think they will look like e’s now.” Evidently, the young newspapermen are beginning to find that the fourth estate is beset with trials and tribulations.
The news is interesting. One item • says: “Two boys in the 6th and 7th grades got into a fight at the school on Tuesday.”
