Mrs. Ray Fincham left on Monday with her daughter, Mrs. Russell Racer and infant son, Russell, for Penn. Mrs. Racer will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Racer for several days and before returning to her home in Washington will visit her son, Edward who has a position in Norfolk.

Dinner guests Saturday night of Miss Irene Keyser were Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller and daughter, Miss Evelyn Tyler, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dreibus of Washington, D. C.

Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood and daughter, Frances, Miss Irene Keyser and Mrs. John A. Keyser were in Baltimore for the day Tuesday.

Miss Louise Strother Miller and Dick Doss of Charlottesville were weekend guests of * Miss Miller’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Miller of Millermead. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Miller nad their house guests attended the Philadelphia-Washington baseball game in Washington.

J. M. Caskie arrived Monday to spend some time with Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller of Mt. Prospect.

Robert Miller of Richmond was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Gyde Baggarly had as their guests Sunday at "Avon Hall”, Oapt and Mrs. Frank Heir of Washington, D. C.

Among those who attended the Methodist meeting in the Handley High School in Winchester on Sunday afternoon were Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Mrs. C. G. Reid, Mrs. Gilbert Updike, Mrs. Ora Ramey and Mrs. Guy Burke. Pvt. Robert J. Rutherford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles' Rutherford, is spending a ten-day furlough with his parents, He will return to California where he will receive orders.

Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and son, Arthur, and one of his playmates, were in Washington, D. C. on Friday to see Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. t

Mrs. Reid, who has been a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Cary for sometime returned home Sunday accompanied by her brother, William Worth, who has accepted a position with the Bond Bread Company, in Baltimore. While there he will live with another sister, Mrs. John Bradshaw. •

Mrs. George H. Davis, Mrs. Lewis J. Turner and Mrs. Waverly Yowell were in Purcellville on Saturday attending the Purcellville Garden Club Flower Show.
