Handicraft and Nature Study Gasses took most of the time before lunch, hut there was always time for a swim in the pool. In the afternoon sports and swimming under the watchful eye of a qualified life guard were the order of the day. Special swimming instructions were given to the children who were unable to swim. A good many "Rocks" learned to be quite at ease in the water before the end of the week.
