William Henry Pratt, son of Mary Elln Pratt, who left for the armed forces July 28, is beginning his basic training. According to reports received by his mother he is getting along very well. Catherine Williams and a friend of Washington, D. C. were week-end guests of her mother, Mrs. Nannie Starks.
