“100 Car” Goal Reached
By Ramey For 3rd Time
Malhon Ramey, salesman for Parkway Chevrolet, has once again reached the 100 car club. The length of time allowed to sell these 100 cars is 12 months, but Mr. Ramey sold his 100th car in only 5 months.
Mr. Ramey, who went back to work for Parkway on April 1, 1953 after a period of absence of 9 months due to illness, reached his goal on August 18, 1953. This is the third time he has succeeded in reaching the 100 car club once in 1950 and again in 1951. In appreciation for his services, Mr. Ramey has been invited to attend a banquet given by the Baltimore Zone in Washington, D. C. on August 28.
The public will be interested "to know that in 5 months the 100 cars were all sold in Rappahannock County.
Mr. Ramey wishes to thank all buyers for making it possible for him to accomplish this outstanding record.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Johnson and son, Thomas, of Charlottesville, were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson on Sunday.
